Multi-Sourcing
Multi-Sourcing simply means that we compare prices and terms from a large number of suppliers. We provide access to a much larger number of approved leasing companies with better terms and conditions that offer best value to our clients.
Multi-Sourcing can be provided to clients as a stand-alone service or as a standard feature of our unique management arrangements. If an organisation and its' employees are committing themselves to a long term contract, it is essential that we provide them with unrestricted informal quotations each reflecting the most competitive rate and terms available at that time.
Each leasing company has been assessed and awarded a company rating based on the terms and conditions contained in their Service Level Agreement. When applied to the rental quotation the rating system ensures that added value features are considered before a contract is awarded.
We do, in effect, implement competitive tendering principles with each quote that we produce. We regularly utilise the rates from over forty major leasing companies with approved contract terms and conditions. We record the rates from a minimum of six different selected companies for each vehicle and keep those rates on file for audit purposes. The rates that offer the best value for money, taking into account non-financial benefits, are used for the employee quotation.
Multi-Sourcing avoids the problems associated with traditional tendering and selection of suppliers. Multi-Sourcing stimulates competition, reduces rentals for our clients and improves terms and conditions from suppliers. Our experience shows that no single supplier can offer competitive rentals for a sustained period.
